OPINION: “Alternative Headlines: The Marquette Poll

As I see it, I’m Andy Parish. You’ve seen the academic elites pushing headlines like “Shifting Data Center Support.”

That’s of course since the Marquette Poll dropped just yesterday.

I read the survey and methodology, so you don’t have to. And I have to say pushing a headline like that is extremely odd when they could have led with headlines like this. 71% of Wisconsinites believe you have a constitutional right to carry a handgun. 56% of Wisconsinites say property tax relief is now more important than funding K-12 education. 56% of Wisconsinites support deporting all illegal immigrants. And 57% of voters are voting no on this year’s school referendums.

Why weren’t those the headlines? Simple, those numbers give the undecided, psychological permission to join the majority. And the academic elites don’t want you to know that.

Whoops.
